In my childhood days I was very much passionate about Hollywood movies and stars. In my hometown Calicut there is a theater
called Crown theater which is exclusively meant for English movies. I was a regular customer there. Whenever new releases arrive,
I get that irresistible urge and for the very first show I will be there in the queue waiting patiently for the show to begin.
I saw the maximum number of movies during the period 1979-1987. It includes such classic Hollywood movies like Roman Holiday,
North by Northwest, and The Great Escape. I had the chance to see the films of some of the greatest Hollywood stars. My favorite actors
list is too long! Among the top of the list you can find Steve MacQueen, Gregory Peck, and Charles Bronson, Robert Redford,
and the incomparable Jack Nicholson. Like favorite actors, the list of my favorite movies are also long. Some of the entries in the
list are Roman holiday, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Great Escape, and Hard Times.
Though I have seen about 600 and odd movies (in theater), I have also missed many classics. Some of those I would like to watch include, Gone with the Wind,
Citizen Kane, To Kill a Mockingbird, Spellbound, On the Waterfront, Sunset Boulevard, Casablanca, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Ten Commandments, The Sound of Music etc.
Some of the biggest stars of all time whose films I have yet see are Paul Muni, Humphrey Bogart, Gary Cooper, Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Bob Hope, and John Wayne.
